Job Description
As an Academy Course Instructor/Facilitator, you will lead the delivery of dynamic courses that inspire and challenge students.
Through interactive instruction, workshops, and practical sessions, you will foster a stimulating learning environment that encourages active participation and knowledge retention.
Tasks:
- 🎯 Deliver engaging and interactive course content to students.
- 🎯 Design and develop course materials, including presentations, assignments, and assessments.
- 🎯 Facilitate group discussions, workshops, and practical sessions.
- 🎯 Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback on assignments and assessments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- 🎯 Serve as subject matter experts in their respective fields, delivering high-quality instruction.
- 🎯 Create a positive and inclusive learning environment to promote active student participation.
- 🎯 Assess and evaluate students' performance to ensure learning objectives are met.
- 🎯 Continuously update course content and materials to reflect industry trends and best practices
Person Specification:
- 🎯 Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as an educator in the fields aligning with any of the categories of students listed above.
- 🎯 Proven experience in curriculum and course development, facilitation and evaluation.
- 🎯 Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- 🎯 Passion for creating innovative and inclusive learning experiences.
- 🎯 Strong commitment to students' academic growth and success.
Preferred Candidates:
JapaDemy seeks candidates who are experienced professionals with a minimum of 5 years of practical experience in their respective careers or fields of practice.
The preferred candidates should either be resident within Africa or preferably have been resident outside Africa (preferably in the UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, U.S, Asia, Jamaica, Saudi Arabia, Finland, Germany or any other parts of Europe) within the last 1 year.
Exceptional candidates who are resident in Africa or possesses less than the required years of experience may also be considered for the position of interns.
Desirable Qualification:
Basic or in-depth knowledge of education technology will be an added advantage. Candidates without any skills in digital technology need not apply.
Candidates with no background in education but willing to start their Level 3 Diploma in Education and Training within the next 6 months will be considered.
