Role Description:
As a Social Media & Community Engagement Specialist, you will be the brain behind our online presence, crafting compelling narratives, and fostering a vibrant community around the JapaDemy brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Writer:
- 🎯 Compose and curate engaging content across various social media platforms.
- 🎯 Develop a content calendar that aligns with brand messaging and marketing objectives.
Audience Engagement:
- 🎯 Cultivate and nurture an active online community through thoughtful engagement.
- 🎯 Monitor social media channels to stay attuned to audience sentiments and trends.
- 🎯 Proactively engage with customers/audience to understand their needs and challenges.
- 🎯 Collaborate with the CRM Manager to enhance customer relationships.
Brand Specialist & Innovator:
- 🎯 Collaborate with the graphic designer and product designer to ensure brand consistency and integrity across all digital touchpoints.
- 🎯 Collaborate with marketing and design teams to create visually appealing content.
- 🎯 Explore and implement innovative strategies to increase social media reach and engagement.
- 🎯 Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms.
Person Specification (essential):
- 🎯 Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or in a similar role.
- 🎯 Expertise/experience in Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Youtube and TIktok.
- 🎯 Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- 🎯 Creative mindset with an eye for design and visual aesthetics.
- 🎯 In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics.
- 🎯 Passionate about building and nurturing online communities.
- 🎯 Customer relationship skills
- 🎯 Ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and adapt to the demands of a budding startup.
- 🎯 Be self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision independently.
Preferred Candidates:
We are particularly interested in candidates with expertise in EdTech or related fields, and those who thrive in dynamic, multicultural environments.
